Santech Seats successfully concluded its participation at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2026 held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from January 14 to 18, 2026. The five-day event was India’s most significant automotive and mobility gathering of the year, drawing participation from over 800 exhibitors and an estimated 1.2 lakh trade visitors across its five venues.
Our booth at Hall 5, Stand C18 saw consistent footfall throughout the event, with peak traffic on the first two days coinciding with OEM and government delegation visits. The team conducted 58 pre-scheduled B2B meetings with fleet operators, state transport undertakings, bus body builders, and international OEM partners — resulting in 12 concrete enquiries across our product portfolio.
The star attraction of this edition was the live demonstration of our EV-Ready Intercity Recliner, which drew particular interest from STU procurement teams evaluating seating specifications for their upcoming electric bus fleet rollouts under the PM e-Bus Sewa scheme.
Beyond product demonstrations, the Santech team engaged meaningfully with policy stakeholders including officials from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, who visited the booth on Day 2 to review the SafeRide School Bus Seat compliance with the revised AIS safety norms taking effect in April 2026.
